How does it work

The secure authentication and payment validation technology underlying MobiCash is called NSDT^TM.

NSDT^TM uses the mobile phone’s audio channel to transmit secure information used to electronically sign transactions.

All phones can make payments using MobiCash irrespective of the cell phone model or network operator being used . You do not need to modify your cell phone in order to use MobiCash.

How do I create a MobiCash account ?

Creating a MobiCash account is fast and easy. Just call 087 751 3104  from the cell phone you wish to use for your MobiCash account.
Once you have registered you may instantly access your client space on www.mobicashonline.co.za to load money on your account using a credit card (VISA, MASTER CASD,COFINGA)

How do I pay using my cell phone?

With MobiCash, you can use your cell phone to make purchases with your favorite merchants. Paying is easy simply: > Call your country access number Dip your cell phone into the MobiPad situated in front of you. > Check your text messages to verify the amount of the transaction and your new account balance.

How do I credit my MobiCash account ?

You can add money to your MobiCash account on the web using your credit card or directly through the merchant using any accepted payment method.

On the web (www.mobicashonline.com), access your client space securely by answering your cell phone when MobiCash calls to authenticate you. Then select the merchant account that you wish to add money to and click on “credit” at the top right of the page.  This will bring you to a secure PayBoxªsite where your payment information will be entered and processed. For added convenience, change your MobiCash settings to automatically recharge your account with a bankcard.

To add money to your MobiCash account at the store, first give the merchant the amount that you wish to credit your account with (in cash, card, or other accepted payment methods). When the merchant instructs you to do so, call MobiCash (using the usual MobiCash number 0879350000) and dip your phone in the MobiPad just as you do for a payment. A text message will be sent to you to confirm the credit transaction.
